This is a work-in-slow-progress Pomodoro app that lives in your system tray and has some nice features like an ease-in mode and planned activity logging and statistics display. Built using Python and PyGObject.
Makas was a first attempt at an attempt at a static site generator library written in Ruby. My main inspiration being Hakyll the aim was that Makas would be a library and/or DSL for mapping a hierarchy of files to a website and/or a blog (or more than one of them, of course). I also failed at this once more using Python, but some day I’ll get back to this because while Haskell is a good language, the tooling around it is terrible.
vim-sunflower is a Python based vim plugin that automatically switches your theme depending on whether the sun’s up or not. IDK if this still works or whether the PyEphem library it uses is still around.
Lithochromatic is a vim theme that took inspiration from Gnome’s Adwaita theme and shot for consistency and tried to avoid using too much colours. Looks like some people still do use it. Looks like this.
Have a look at the list of my Github repos, my gists, and my scripts (also here), you might find something interesting, or maybe even useful.
If you’re an Emacs user, I have one big, old, fermented mess of an init.el that you might want to check out. Among all the usual stuff, I do have some stuff which I believe to be nice ideas.
